To escape the monster Typhoon Aphrodite and Eros turned themselves into fish. These fish were associated by the ancient Greeks with the Pisces constellation

Zeus had many female lovers and one male lover, Ganymede (latin Catamitus), a young man from Troy. Zeus took the form of an eagle to take the boy to Olympus where he became the cup-bearer of gods. The ancient Greeks associated Ganymede with the constellation Aquarius.
